Henderson event to support Lt. O’Nan’s cancer fight

O'Nan began his fight in August 2024 after discovering a lump in his bicep, leading to extensive surgery and ongoing medical challenges. The cancer has returned just above the previous tumor site, with recent scans revealing two enlarged lymph nodes. Police said Lt. O'Nan underwent hours of surgery this past week and is now awaiting pathology results to determine the next steps. Rescue truck, wrecker hit by drivers in Henderson County crashes

(WEVV) "Officials are alerting the public after a rescue truck and a wrecker were hit by drivers in two separate crashes on Monday in Henderson County. According to Henderson City-County Rescue Squad, the first incident occurred at Sand Lane and Green Street, where a wrecker driver was attempting to load a crashed vehicle. While attempting to load the vehicle, officials say the wrecker was hit by another vehicle. Thankfully, no one was injured. Henderson City-County Rescue Squad said the second incident happened on the new section on I-69, as crews were responding to a report of a crash with injuries. The new KY 3690 roadway, the relocated Kimsey Lane, and new interchanges at U.S. 60 and U.S. 41 are expected to open by midday on Saturday, November 8. Gov. Andy Beshear and local officials celebrated the completion earlier this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community event. The KY 3690 roadway spans nearly 2.5 miles, linking the U.S. 41 and U.S. 60 interchanges. It is planned to be signed as I-69 when the future bridge opens. The U.S. 60 interchange, featuring three roundabouts, will facilitate traffic movement on and off I-69. The U.S. 41 interchange will include two ramps for movement from the new KY 3690 to U.S. 41. Victim in deadly Henderson house fire identified

The fire happened at a home on'Sunday night along Millcreek Drive near Villagebrook. While two people were able to get out of the home and go to the hospital for treatment, a third person was found inside and pronounced dead at the scene. Overturned semi spills grain on Henderson roadway
